We are very excited to bring you this first post. Last week I was in Melbourne for the Australian Video Producer Association (AVPA) National Awards night for 2009. To our surprise we picked up the winning award for "Wedding - Short Form". The Short form category is for videos under 50min.
This was for a wedding we filmed in Italy - Lake Como September 2008. The location itself was truly a magical fairy tale destination. The 80 million dollar Villa where the wedding was held, had sweeping breathtaking views of the gorgeous lake and mountain tops. It was like something out of a movie set. No doubt the sheer beauty of this location and the investment the couple put into this wedding certainly made our jobs easier, and I felt really grateful to be able to take part in it.
